Summer is almost here again! We are over a year into creating a whole new business concept for what we think is Calgary’s best pizza from the humble digs of our permanent location in Glenbrook. Like many businesses in Calgary, we had to respond to the restrictions and changes that COVID threw at us last year. So, we got creative, and thought, even though we are a food truck, let’s just…not… drive… and stay put. Not visit locations, not cater much, and just simply serve pizzas to the good folks of South West Calgary. And we did it! Even in the dead of winter! A year later, the garden is growing, the pizza is cooking, the Google reviews are building, and we are feeling so happy about the love that we’re vibing on from our amazing community of customers we have built… by taking our show OFF the road.

We want to give a particular shout-out to some of our most dedicated customers that have been so generous with their words and reviews. Firstly, to our self-proclaimed super-fan, @lovegastrogirl for her consistent support and amazing reviews. Every time she orders, she takes time to show local business love by doing a post for us, listing all her favorite flavors and photos- even on National Take-Out Day! She has an honest, hilarious Instagram account that will tell you how things are in the food scene in Cowtown. AND she sure did coin the hashtag #Dannyscarbsarethebestcarbs :) :) Big love Gastro Girl! You’re the best! And check out this awesome blog post by @hittingthesauceyyc.
